Here is a tip. You don’t have to type your display name and password every time you visit KiiRaa. Instead, do it once and forget about it. Here is how.
When the next time you get the login box
- - type your ‘display name or email’
- - type your ‘password’
- - make sure you check the ‘Keep me logged in on this computer’ check box
- - click ‘Login’

That’s it. Unless you manually logout or clean your computer, you will stay logged on KiiRaa and will not have to worry about typing your login credentials to use the features.
Enjoy!

KiiRaalysis has finally kicked in. We now have enough data to filter the most popular sites. If you notice, when you click on the ‘KiiRaalysis’ tab, you will see a bunch of sites. These are considered to be the most popular sites on KiiRaa. These are based on a number of scenarios and calculations and ofcourse based on fan activity.
Again KiiRaalysis = Popular Sites or Classics.

So I have this large 2gb zip file that I want to send to my friends. It has a lot of pictures from my birthday. My current email does not help as it does not allow me to attach files larger than 10mb. So what do I do?
Filemail is the answer. This website allows you to send large files via email. You can send a file as large as 2gb using a simple email like interface. No sign up required.

How does it work?
- Create a message and type the ‘to’ and ‘from’ email addresses
- Upload the files you want to send (up to 2 gb)
- Pick optional features (e.g. password to download the file)
- Hit ‘Send’
- A small e-mail is delivered to the recipients, containing a short message from you and a hyperlink where the files can be downloaded
- The recipients click the hyperlink in the e-mail, and are taken to the download page. After the specified number of days/number of downloads, the files are removed completely from Filemail (super cool)
That’s it. Enjoy!

With summer round the corner, gas prices are on the rise. If you are one of those summer drivers who wants to enjoy the sun but keep a check on the fuel then head to GasBuddy.com.
GasBuddy helps you find cheap gas in your city. In addition, the site offers other fuel related information, money saving tips in your local area and other gas related tools.
Try using ‘Trip Cost Calculator’ tool. When planning a long drive, the tool not only calculates the gas cost for the trip but also lists the cheapest gas stations on your route. I also like the ‘Fuel Saving Tips’ section of the site.

While electric/hybrid cars are still in works (or expensive), GasBuddy can help you save some $$ today. Check out GasBuddy and let me know what you think.
Happy driving…

Since launch, we received a lot of questions from our Fans. We wanted to use this post to answer questions so that other Fans can also be benefited. As we get additional questions, we will update this post. Also, feel free to add comments/questions using the comment form. So here goes:
Q: How often will KiiRaa be updated?
A: If we continue getting the suggestions at a decent pace, we expect to add new sites daily at 9:00 PM PST US
Q: Can we expect to see more features?
A: We have received some great suggestions and feedback. We are working on some exciting things so stay tuned. In the mean time, please continue sending us feedback about what you want to see on KiiRaa
Q: Why is KiiRaalysis empty?
A: We are brand new. KiiRaalysis will trigger based on certain actions on the site. Currently, we don’t have enough data to calculate KiiRaalysis. Once we have some data to work with, you will see sites under KiiRaalysis. To know more about KiiRaalysis click here
Q: It has been a while, why don’t I see my suggested site on KiiRaa?
A: We appreciate our Fans helping us find the best sites but not every suggested site gets listed on KiiRaa. Please click here to read more about this. If a website is accepted, you will receive an email. Please make sure you add connect@kiiraa.com to your address book else KiiRaa email may end up in spam. This is also true when you are trying to reset password
Q: Regarding the contest. I am in Germany. If I win, will you ship me the iPod?
A: We are sorry, the contest is restricted to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia

A KiiRaa Fan (Clearwaterblues) recently recommended an awesome site - Grooveshark. While reviewing this site, I was amazed how quickly I was able to search and play my favorite songs.

On the home page, you can search for a particular song or an artist. I typed ‘Desert Rose’. The site instantly takes me to the next screen where I can further filter the results based on - songs, artists, albums, playlists and genres. Once you know what you want, you can click on the ‘play’ button and listen to the song. The site does not require you to create an account to listen to the songs. However, if you want to create and save playlists and use other cools features, you will need an account.
Grooveshark, gets a thumps up from KiiRaa editors. You can checkout the site at: Grooveshark
